The Collegiate Fall Schedule is a one-of-a-kind experience that is only offered by the Ontario Blue Jays. Over the course of September and October the Collegiate Fall Roster will travel throughout the United States playing against various college programs from NCAA Division 1 to the National Junior College Athlete Association (NJCAA). The team comprised of most high school seniors who travel by bus from university to university over the course of three trips spread out over the two months. Although our Fall Schedule changes yearly, previous years have seen games against the following notable NCAA Baseball Programs:
Each Collegiate Fall Schedule is wrapped up by attending the World Wood Bat Association Perfect Game 18U National Championship held in Jupiter, Florida at Roger Dean Stadium. This tournament is considered the most highly scouted high school baseball event in North America. The tournament is comprised of 64 teams by invitation only. The field of competition features the best travel programs from across the United States. Over the past 5 years, the Ontario Blue Jays have made notable runs at the National Championship but have fell short in the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals.
The OBJ Collegiate Fall Schedule is designed to prepare our OBJ Student-Athletes for the rigours of college life both on and off the baseball field. Each player is required to complete study hall each day, along with regular work checks and grade checks administered by the Ontario Blue Jays Staff. The goal of these trips is to allow our players the opportunity to arrive on a university or college campus the following year and not be overwhelmed by the expectations of being a collegiate Student-Athletes.
