The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that C Noah McAllum (Courtice, ON) has committed to attended the University of Fraser Valley (Abbotsford, BC) for the Fall of 2019.
McAllum joined the Ontario Blue Jays Program back in 2014 as apart of the the expansion into younger age groups. Noah has been apart of teams at 14U, 15U, 16U and now had made the jump to the 18 & Under Program for his final year. He has been a great leader and workhorse behind the plate for years with every OBJ team he has been apart of.
McAllum joins a Cascades program that is on the rise out West and is ran in part by two familiar faces in Corey Eckstein and Taylor Bratton, both of which are apart of the OBJ extended Coaching Staff. Eckstein on Noah: “Our goal this off-season was to create more depth behind the plate and Noah brings that to us. More importantly, we want good people in our program with a genuine work ethic. Noah checks those boxes. We hope to continue this relationship with the Ontario Blue Jays and be a place for those players who wish to play in Canada, or need an extra year or two to develop then move south.”
McAllum will be the second Ontario Blue Jays player to play at the University of Fraser Valley.
