OBJ Set to Take on ABC at Olympic Stadium

The Ontario Blue Jays are headed to Montreal this weekend to take on the Academie du Baseball Canada at Olympic Stadium.  The Academie du Baseball Canada is Quebec’s premier baseball program and has been a long time opponent of OBJ.  Prior to this meeting, the teams squared off during Spring Training at Holman Stadium at Historic Dodgertown as a part of OBJ Scout Day where they split the doubleheader.

This time around, the games will take place after the Toronto Blue Jays play host to the Pittsburgh Pirates at 1:05pm as they cap off their respective Spring Trainings.  OBJ and ABC will play two 8 inning games with both teams featuring a 16/17U lineup and an 18U lineup.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm with RHP Steve Kinal starting Game 1, and RHP Jack Liddell starting Game 2.
