‘Anyone that knows me well, knows how instrumental Sean Travers has been in my success in this game. I met Sean as a 15 year old, average baseball player, and with is coaching and guidance was able to play elite baseball for the Ontario Blue Jays, 7 years of professional baseball with Montreal, Washington and Toronto, and am now entering my 4th year scouting with the Jays organization. Sean has a unique combination of immense knowledge, accountability, honesty and an innate ability to relate with every one of his players. In the nearly 15 years I have known him, I have yet to see a player he has worked with do anything but improve and succeed beyond their expectations. Sean is an asset to the Ontario Blue Jays organization, one of the best instructors in the game of a baseball, and someone I am lucky to call my friend and mentor.” – Jamie Lehman Area Scout: Canada and Upstate New York for the Toronto Blue Jays.
