High Performance Program - Begins Fall 2021

Ontario Blue Jays are excited to work alongside the Peel District School Board, Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and the Toronto District School Board to offer a Baseball High Performance Program throughout the school year.  The Program is designed to support high level amateur athletes with an alternate school day to help facilitate their athletic training needs in order to promote balance throughout their academic and athletic commitments.  Aligned with the PDSB, TDSB and DPCSB the program with be based on the Ontario Curriculum, and will be structured based on the individual school's daily schedule with the addition of half day or part-time baseball specific training including strength, conditioning and agility.  If you are a highly motivated and committed student-athlete who has goals to achieve at the highest level both on the field and in the classroom - this is the program for you!

Full-Time: Dolphin Senior Public School (6-8)

Dolphin Sr. Public School is a middle school that is tucked away at the end of Brookside Drive in Streetsville. Our Mission is, “Making a Difference for all Students.” We also value equity, diversity, inclusiveness and social justice and believe that all stakeholders should work in harmony with one other, respecting differences and ensuring that all students can succeed.  Dolphin Sr. offers a wide variety of leadership activities for students to become involved with. We have an active athletic council, The Me To We club, Step Up, lunch leaders (STUFFCO), French clubs and art clubs, to name a few. We are very involved in tournaments for flag football, basketball, hockey, baseball, badminton, soccer and many more.

Full-Time: Hollycrest Middle School (6-8)

Hollycrest Middle School was created as a special 1967 Centennial Project. Located on the western boundary of the Toronto District School Board, it enjoys the wide, open spaces bordering the Etobicoke Olympium and Centennial Park.  The elite Hollycrest High Performers Program provides  a specialized flexible learning environment that empowers the upcoming quality athletes to strive for both academic and athletic excellence in a shortened day schedule.  The coaches of these students work in co-operation with the teachers from our school.

Full-Time: Mississauga Secondary School (9-12)

Mississauga Secondary School offers a full range of courses addressing the needs of all students, whether their destination is the workplace, an apprenticeship, college or university. The curriculum optimizes successful pathways to multiple destinations after secondary school. The variety of courses offered serves the diverse needs of all learners, supporting student retention until goals are realized. In keeping with our school motto "Be Fit to Learn,  Learn to Be Fit!" Mississauga Secondary School offers a SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) in Health and Wellness.

Part-Time: St. Martin Secondary School (Grade 9)

St. Martin Catholic Secondary School Regional Sports Program, is an athletic and leadership focused learning program that promotes healthy lifestyles and lifelong skills to assist our students to excel in their future careers. Our program is open to all students entering grade nine from any region. Our students are exposed to a variety of opportunities to increase their knowledge of sport specific skills and build their leadership skills. Students do not have to be elite athletes to join the program. The program is developed for students who have a passion for sports.
