Four OBJ Players Head to OUA/OCAA

Although the vast majority of our Ontario Blue Jays players head south of the border after graduating high school, each year we have a few that make the choice to stay in Ontario.  These players continue to strengthen and grow baseball in Ontario at the collegiate level and we are proud of their decisions to grow the game in our backyard.

Catcher - Josh Cipolla (Oakville, ON) has committed to continue his education and baseball career at George Brown College in Toronto.  Cipolla will join former Ontario Blue Jays Left-Handed Pitcher and George Brown Head Coach, AJ Wideman.  Wideman has lead the Huskies on the field for the past several seasons and Josh will look to add to his strong roster.

Infielder - Ashton Feijo (Mississauga, ON) has committed to continue his education and baseball career at Brock University in St. Catherines.  Feijo joins a solid list of OBJ Alumni who have attended Brock either straight out of high school or after completing their degrees in the United States.  Feijo joins a strong Badgers group that will be looking to take home another OUA Title.

Infielder - Arthur Kowara (Mississauga, ON) & Infielder - Braedon Walsh (Barrie, ON) have committed to continue their education and baseball career at the University of Guelph.  Both Kowara and Walsh were recruited to the Gryphon's by former OBJ Head Coach Dean Mariani who is several years into his OUA coaching career.  Both players are joining a well run program who is chasing their first OUA Baseball Championship.

Congratulations to all four of our Ontario Blue Jays players who are moving forward to the next level here in Ontario!
