Giancarlo Sortino to Mineral Area College

Giancarlo Sortino, an Infielder from St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic High School (Aurora, ON), has committed to continue his academic and baseball career at Mineral Area College, a NJCAA D1 Program located in Park Hills, Missouri.

Mineral Area College located south of St. Louis, Missouri competes in Region 16 (Missouri) that features other strong programs such as Crowder College and Jefferson College. One of the stronger regions in the NJCAA, the winner of Region 16 typically finds themselves in Grand Junction at the World Series in May.

Sortino becomes the fifth Ontario Blue Jays player to commit to Mineral Area. Congratulations to Giancarlo and his family on his commitment!
