Lawson Commits to the University of Florida!

The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that SS Brendan Lawson (Toronto, ON) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at the University of Florida (NCAA DI—Gainesville, FL). 

Lawson joins a perennial powerhouse in the University of Florida. He will bring a powerful bat, outstanding defence in the middle of the diamond, and competitive edge to the Gator's lineup. For the upcoming 2023 season, the Gators are ranked at No. 4 on Baseball America's pre-season top 25.

Lawson will be the first Ontario Blue Jays player to attend the University of Florida.
