OBJ Lands New Facility

The Ontario Blue Jays are pleased to announce their new home in Mississauga, Ontario. The new facility, The Athletes Turf, is a brand-new state of the art baseball training facility that will allow us to seamlessly carry on with and improve our development model that OBJ players and families have grown proud of. 

This arrangement between Athlete’s Turf and OBJ allows us to specifically focus on the growth and development of the Ontario Blue Jays Baseball Organization, while benefitting from moving into a purpose-built facility that’s ready for us to make it our own. 

Beginning May 1st, we will begin our weight-room renovations and minor alterations to the turf and cage areas to suit our training models needs. Interior and exterior OBJ branding and graphics are already in the works with plans for administrative areas to be executed in the spring and summer.

While we will miss the Athlete Matrix, our brand-new home at the Athlete’s Turf brings a fresh sense of inspiration and pride to the organization. We look forward to inspiring both staff and players in the new space as we build on our history and tradition in this next chapter of the OBJ.  We are excited to create a space that parallels a condensed NCAA Indoor Training Facility that facilitates the best quality of training and development the province has to offer.
