Slater Commits to Missouri State!

The Ontario Blue Jays are thrilled to announce that RHP Owen Slater (Whitby, ON) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at Missouri State (NCAA DI – Springfield, MO).

Slater will head down to Springfield next Fall to join a strong Division I program in the Missouri Bears. He will bring his enthusiasm, leadership and strong presence on the mound to Hammons Field. 

Owen will be the second Ontario Blue Jays player to attend Missouri State University, joining former

OBJ Joey Hawkins (now Assistant Head Coach at Missouri State).
