Somerville heads to Jefferson College

The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that OF Jackson Somerville (Burlington, ON) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at Jefferson College (NJCAA DI - Hillsboro, MO). Somerville, a long-time, Ontario Blue Jay has been with the program since he was 12 years old and has grown up a Blue Jay playing for Head Coaches, Brad Barlow, Eddie Largy, Francis Cubos, Mike Siena, Joe Ellison and Mike Steed. 

Somerville heads to Missouri to join a Vikings team that is always a threat to make a run to Grand Junction each year. The Vikings are getting an exceptional athlete with power in his bat and a great ability to play defence anywhere in the outfield.

Somerville will be the seventh Ontario Blue Jays player to attend Jefferson College.
