Three OBJ Players Selected in MLB Draft

The MLB First-Year Players Draft is something that players look forward to for years before it is their year to potentially hear their name called.  The Ontario Blue Jays have been lucky enough to have great success over the past twenty years when it comes to the three-day event held in Secaucus, New Jersey.  This year saw three Ontario Blue Jays players drafted by Major League Baseball teams over the three days.

OF Dasan Brown (Oakville, ON – Texas A&M Commit) was selected in the 3rd Round, 88th Overall by the Toronto Blue Jays.

SS Tyrell (TJ) Schofield-Sam (Brampton, ON – Chipola College Commit) was selected in the 12th Round, 374 Overall by the Oakland Athletics.

SS Jaden Brown (Mississauga, ON – University of Kentucky Commit) was selected in the 40th Round, 1203 Overall by the Washington Nationals.

Congratulations to all three players and their families for this great accomplishment!
