Valdes Commits to WVU!

The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that OF Jorge Valdes (Milton, ON) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at the University of West Virginia (NCAA DI - Morgantown, WV). Valdes joined the Ontario Blue Jays at just 11 years old and has played a large role on all OBJ teams during his career.

Valdes joins a strong Mountaineers program on the rise in the very competitive Big 12. He will look to make an immediate impact for West Virginia in his Freshman Year.

Jorge will be the second Ontario Blue Jays player to attend West Virginia University, joining Sam White.
