Wes O'Connor heading to Mercyhurst

Wes O'Connor, a Left-Handed Pitcher from St. Ignatius of Loyola Secondary School (Oakville, ON), has committed to continue his academic and baseball career at Mercyhurst University, a NCAA Division 1 Program located in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Mercyhurst is a newcomer to the NCAA Division 1 scene as they enter their second season in the Northeast Conference which features other institutions from Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

O'Connor becomes the first Ontario Blue Jays player to commit to Mercyhurst. Congratulations to Wes and his family on his commitment!
